Privacy Policy

The short version

We do not store your change orders. The free generator computes totals and renders your PDF on the fly and keeps nothing: no accounts, no database of your documents, no copies of what you typed. Your draft lives in your own browser, and the PDF goes straight to you.

1. What we process, and where it goes

• What you type into the generator — company, project, client and line item details — is sent to our server to calculate totals and render the PDF, and is discarded once the response is sent. It is not written to any database or file on our side.
• Your draft is saved in your browser’s session storage so a page reload does not wipe the form. It never leaves your device for that purpose and disappears when the tab closes.
• Server logs record IP addresses, request paths, timestamps and browser user agents — standard operational data used for security (such as rate limiting) and troubleshooting. Logs rotate automatically within a fixed size cap, so older entries are continuously discarded rather than kept indefinitely.
• Email: if you write to support@jobsigned.com, we receive your address and your message and use them to reply.

2. Cookies

The site currently sets no cookies. If a future feature (such as signing in) needs one, this policy will say so first.

3. Analytics

We use PostHog (US cloud) for product analytics: anonymous usage events such as page views, “started filling the form” and “downloaded a PDF” — never the contents of your documents. It is configured without cookies and without browser storage, session recording is disabled, and it honors your browser’s Do Not Track setting.

4. Service providers

Infrastructure the service runs on:

• Hostinger — hosting; our server is in the United States (Boston).
• Let’s Encrypt — TLS certificates; your connection to us is encrypted.
• Resend — transactional email, used when account features launch.
• PostHog — product analytics, as described above; data is processed in the United States.

5. Your rights

Because we do not store your documents or maintain accounts, there is usually nothing for us to hand over or delete — the data is already only in your hands. For anything covered by applicable privacy laws (including California’s CCPA), write to support@jobsigned.com and we will respond.

6. Changes

When the service grows — accounts, online approvals, payments — this policy will be updated before those features handle your data, and the effective date above will change.
